Are cats capable of emotional intelligence? This might just be the debate of the century. The world is divided between two kinds of people: those who say cats are aggressive and incapable of love. And then there's the rational bunch, the ones who know cats are more than capable of emotions such as love, sympathy, interest, serenity, and the list goes on.

There's no denying that cats can be angry, of course not. After all, anger is as much emotion as love or serenity. It's all about how you treat your cat and whether it feels safe with you. If the cat is abused or mistreated, there's no way it'll show you positive emotions. But if you truly care and love your cat, they'll make sure their feelings are known. It can be a paw on your knee, some purrs before bed, or bringing you their latest catch of the season. They express their emotions in all sorts of ways, it's all about learning each other's love language.

We absolutely agree. We see our cats exhibiting emotions and emotional intelligence on a daily. Like we already said, it's about learning each other's languages and building a connection based on trust, compassion, and reciprocity.

Oh, poor baby. We can only imagine the grief she's been feeling. We wonder if cats understand the concept of the cycle of life. Some say that cats are able to see ghosts, so maybe they see each other all the time. That's our only hope.
